Since 2014

SB Enterprises was founded in 2014 as a structural concrete scanning company, with an initial investment in proper training and state-of-the-art GPR equipment. Unique to this industry, we are a Women-owned Minority Business Enterprise (W/MBE), certified through the Maryland Department of Transportation (MDOT) and the City of Baltimore since 2016. The owners of SB Enterprises come from a background in investigations and analysis, so GPR was a natural transition into private industry and one of the primary reasons behind our success, as this is the basis of our hallmark, Identifying conflicts and solutions.

We understand the importance of completion deadlines and an accident-free work zone, so when we conduct concrete scanning for customers, we do not simply scan where directed and send an invoice. We go the extra mile on every job site, and when the GPR data does not support safe core drilling in a proposed area, we work with our customers to identify an alternative course of action based on data analytics and investigative tradecraft. Simply put, while the technology and data remains the same, our methods are different and they work. In fact, we have conducted thousands of GPR scans since 2014, and have only had one incident meaning our accuracy rate exceeds 99%.
